The XML version of Shakespeare's Sonnet 130 (sonnet130.xml), together with the DTD (sonnet.dtd) and the XSLT stylesheet (sonnet-html.xsl) that converts the sonnet from XML to HTML, are based on Doug Tidwell's excellent series of IBM web tutorials including Transforming XML Documents (circa 2000) that sadly are no longer available.
